P. Ravi Shankar is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on November 28, 1966 in Andhra Pradesh, India. The actor’s brother is Saikumar Pudipeddi. He has been awarded the state’s nine Nandi Awards for Best Male Dubbing Artist as well as two Tamil Nadu State Film Award for the Best Male Dubbing Artist. His directorial debut was through Durgi, the Kannada movie Durgi in the year 2004. He also served as a writer of dialogues and wrote dialogues for more than 75 Telugu films as well as 150 Tamil films. He also performed as a singer-as-a-playback in films like Rakta Charitra as well as Bejawada. He received his very first Filmfare Award for his performance in the film Kempe Gowda which was his first an enormous boost on the path to acting.

Later, he appeared as a supporting actor in films like Madhura Nagarilo as well as Keechurallu. In 2004 He directed the direction of a Kannada film called Durgi which starred Malashri. Later, the film would be remade into Telugu as Narasimhudu with N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ameesha Patel, and Sameera Reddy. Ravi wrote the script for the film that produced by B. Gopal. The film was widely criticized and was a failure on the screen.
His dubbing work in the 2009 film Arundhati, where he voiced for Sonu Sood, was praised in a review on Idlebrain. He won a Nandi award for his performance and was referred to as “Bommali Ravi Shankar” by the media.
